I am a Lecturer in International Political Economy (Assistant Professor) at City St. George's, University of London with a PhD from the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, Cologne. I study central banks, finance, and fiscal policy focusing on major transformations in contemporary economic governance—how existing systems of governance break down and new ones emerge. I have held previous positions at Goldsmiths, University of London and King's College London and I am currently co-director of CITYPERC, a political-economy research cluster at City St. George's.
